oh look, another of these threads.
50+ chars in existence, easily over a hundred made over time. Never had a problem naming any of them. Warhammer 40k Inquisitor: where shotgunning is not only not nerfed, it is deeply encouraged.
Dogma > Souls, but they're masterworks all. You can't go wrong. I was right about PoE2 needing to be a separate, new game. It was really obvious. |

I only have a few characters, but so far I've succeeded in giving them all weird fantasy names without any numbers, symbols, underscores, etc.

You are correct, it is extremely difficult, like doing a root canal on an unsedated tiger, to find a unique name.
Henceforth, we should call on GGG to make one of the challenges finding a unique name. If you type in less than 1,000 names and get a unique one, you get one of the eight challenges. Further, if in a new league you type in a unique name in the first 10 tries, you get a full set of all legacy items, boost to level 90 and 2 mirrors, 100 exalts, 50 eternals and a T-shirt hand knitted by the GGG team. If you fail, however, then GGG is allowed to implant various skill gems in your body in the name of Vaal Science. Sound fair? I feel bad for Aslyma. All that work for nothing.
I have tried what I consider to be obscure names to find them taken. Brings a smile to my face to know there are others out there that enjoy Thrud the barbarian or Recon Rabbit. But I still come up with new names all the time. So OP, what names did you want that were taken? |
