what is ashrend good for?

i put an ashrend armor on my ranger and the mod "(10 to 15)% increased Physical Damage with Ranged Weapons" did not change the arrow skills dps. what would be considered the ranged weapon the mod refers to if not a bow?

wand skills are also considered ranged.
maybe it's a bug and this post belongs in bug reports instead. "Come along fool, a direct hit to the senses will leave you disconnected."

Ashrend has a good 3d art. Decent skin transfer. ;)

Ashbringer is one of the best weapon in game.
It's a fucking 5/3 weapon!!! The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.
