Dual totem builds

global applys to all things hence global.
That doesn't answer my question.

If "% increased critical strike chance" applies to everything, then what's the difference between this and "% increased global critical strike chance"?

As far as I know, there are no "Global" nodes on the passive skill tree.
The passives include generic crit chance, weapon, and spell crit. If it doesn't specify (ie 15% Increased Critical Strike Chance) then it works for everything. If it has Melee in it, it only works with melee attacks and skills. For spells, it's self explanatory.
The global crit chance appears on equips and it's increased crit chance for everything, skills, spells, or melee attacks. If a weapon has a normal "increased crit chance" on it then it only applies for the innate crit chance on the weapon itself and the physical skills used on it (ie Lightning Strike) but not the spells cast WITH the weapon.

Interesting build you have there. Unfortunately it has no minions, and I'm revolving around a summoner. Also leaning towards fire for the 2nd totem.

There are "global" extentions in the skill tree ... north north west ... "40% increased global critical strike chance while wielding a staff"

so back to the question whats global critical strike chance and whats normal critical strike chance? ...

edit:

ok i think i now realised what u ment with the upper post ...

so if i put a staff in as weapon and there is a cold rune equipped this rune also gets the crit chance? right?
