Fix your damn Servers -.-

Hi, I'm also experiencing issues described - sudden disconnects or instance going dead (flat line in latency graph) several times a day. It has started with start of one month race.

Before that, in Bloodlines, it only happened once or twice every week or so. But in the first two hours of one-month race, I lost two characters even before reaching Ledge area, simply due to these network issues happening at wrong moments. Since then, it's been happening few times a day.

and just for the records....im playing since beta. and this kind of issues (huge lagspikes) are just since the 1month events.....so ? and since then....i didnt change my pc or my provider.....so please dont tell me that my "setup" causes this issues...

problem:
huge lagspike....
it looks like a big desync.....iam smashin my pot button....i hear the pot sound......but my hp is unchanged...
....so iam laggin.....and the scala ("F1") says me that my Ping is normal.....soooo.....
I'm also getting huge desync issues, I hit F1 and my latency hovers around 60 ms. I think I'm going to take a break again and let GGG have a while to fix this. I keep getting rubber banded and killed. Same as everyone else, other games run lag free. I shut down everything else I could, no anti-virus or anything.
"Bye" - Mr. Popo
what i dont understand.

Why are after such a disconnect items form 10 min bevore lost?

I never had such a thing in poe. And if this persist i take a break till it is fixed.

Loosing a gemcuter box with serveral gems over lvl 15 is not so funny. Loosing 2 uniques also not.

But not knowing why this happens is a big fail from ggg.

If such things happens i think they must tell the people about this, so they can choose to play

or not.
Follow these steps pls https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/361292. Make sure to set your hideout IP as host. Do one mtr run now and if the problem occures again, do another one. Record for around 5min and post the text into this topic. If the problem was directley related to GGG pretty much everyone on EU gateway would have lost connection, I didn´t for example => isp/routing problem.

Only started happening today. I can mostly walk around fine in towns and such, but if I go near monsters the game lags out, and may disconnect. Do also, now and then, get disconnected standing in town

Same here again, at around 18:30 I started getting higher average latencies, no lags though.
Now I got 3 600ms + spikes in a row, if I opened the strongbox I was rolling while it happened I´d be dead...
Here are the winmtr stats:

I´m not really into this but I guess the 4733 or 385 are ping spikes and they already occure at my first route so this problem might be related to my router or provider?
thx

Heya Indie, sorry but the big issue with your trace is the lost packets - if there are any issues with the GGG servers they are being hidden behind those. Can you do another trace to a different gateway and see if the same loss occurs?
== Officially Retired 27/02/2019 ==

Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years.

Best of luck in the future!
