Disagree. Clearly part of the intended challenge is to herd/escort these problematic followers. Users of convocation would have an insane advantage, and those that don't would be forced to do so. Skill slots are precious.
Not only that but players could simply bring a lvl 1 convocation for their catarina dailies, making them trivially easy.

they are already trivially easy: I've never in my life failed one.
They are just frustrating
