Baldur's Gate meets Mission Impossible

Edwin here, Lead Narrative Designer of this glorious PoE of ours.

Just letting you know that I'm also part of the team for another glorious RPG called Seven Dragon Saga. Completely separate from GGG and Path of Exile. A party of six custom-made PCs. Turn-based combat. Dynamic environment with persistence changes.

"The Touched, chosen elite of the emperor, able to wield powers of Chaos both awesome and terrifying. A band of six martial specialists charged with removing the greatest threats to the empire from even the farthest flung corners of the known world."

Yup, basically it's Baldur's Gate meets Mission Impossible.

Oh, and the core dev team is made up of Gold Box veterans from SSI, the guys who made Wizard's Crown, Phantasie, Pools of Radiance and Curse of the Azure Bonds. Used to play those games when I was about 12 and freely admit that I wouldn't be a Narrative Designer for RPGs now if I hadn't been hooked into those old RPGS at such a tender and impressionable age.

Aw shucks, thanks Charan!

Not sure if that sword ever quite made it into the game, I remember there being lots and lots of references to 'blood'.

I was a big fan of the gold box ssi games. Looking forward to this one. A GGG dev on board just gets me even more excited

Looks beautiful.

Although it's hard getting into those kind of games, with the intriguing backstory and deep role playing experience, I definitely want to invest the time to play this when it comes out. Good luck on the kickstarter.
