Does Leech work on Hall of Grandmasters map?

"There would be no point in passives or items that don't allow enemies to leech off you if leech didn't work in PvP. It certainly wouldn't be necessary to have such a mod against monsters. So, yes, you can leech in PvP. Yes you can leech in the Grandmaster map. Hyron, the reason your stupid friend(s) think leech doesn't work is because lots of PvPers, including grandmasters, explicitly use "enemies cannot leech" items or Bloodless. Everyone here agrees that (a) leech works in PvP [fundamentally; it usually doesn't do anything because everyone taking it seriously either prevents leech or has absolute damage mitigation like block or dodge], and (b) your friends are stupid.

- specc into vaal pact => insta leech, no life reg - remove life gain on hit from cyclone - activate blood rage - fight a friend | |

Dont worry a lot of people dont think leech works in PvP when in fact it does. Whats happening is that because of the damage scaling formula for PvP you arnt doing as much damage as you normally would in PvE content so you leech a lot less.
Also Players do a lot more damage than monsters so they drain your life at a much faster rate than you can counter with leech. That along with items and passives that counter leech dont make it a worth while investment for most builds. IGN:Dethklok

couple years later here but the last time I tested life leech in pvp (lld) it didnt work.
Opponent did not have bloodless passive or any other anti leech capability Me wearing carnage heart He damages me and then stops I damage him repeatedly and should leach with carnage heart (phys damage leech) and blood drinker passive. no life gain for me. no damage boost from carnage heart while damaging him At least in this test life leech does not work in pvp |
