passive skills effect

please help me to understand how passive skills works.
For example if I select +8% to mana does it applies to the CURRENT mana value or it will increase mana pool every time it increase because of items or new node +10 intelligence and so on? Thanks Last edited by sr320 on Feb 26, 2015, 8:13:55 AM

It will give you an 8% increase of your base mana pool. Things like +mana on gear increase that base. Also mods like mana increased by x% will do the same as that passsive.
