Technical Support - New patch 2/24/15 keeps downloading - Forum

I start up path of exile and it says I need to update to the new patch, so i restart Path of Exile and it makes me download the patch. Run path of exile, tells me I need to download the new patch so I restart, and download the patch again. This process keeps repeating with no end in sight. I'm running steam in admin mode and I have tried to restart my steam and my computer with no luck.. any suggestions? I was playing earlier on my laptop just fine. Not sure what to do here.
