Master Daily quests -> Weekly quest to eliminate the job
Hello,
i would like to suggest an idea how to kinda ease up the "need" to do daily quests (every god damn day). It would be nice if there would be an option to "merge" the daily quest rewards from 7 days and do one weekly quest that would be harder, but would reward 7x daily reputation. It could eliminate the need to be doing quests every day. After month or so grinding my masters to lvl 8 (4/8) it is boring to do the lvl 8 dailies. Sure i share them with others, lvl 76 zones are kinda OK for exp and possibility to get a high level map from drops. But there are also other options how to get all those things elsewhere. So, the suggestion would be Weekly quest -> Master would have option to block daily for 7 days ahead and produce much more challenging "Weekly quest" Examples: Haku - carry spirit through bigger zone , multiple bosses at the end or multi level - dungeon Elreon - longer protect time, harder mobs, doing protection and kill relics at the same time, bigger zone. Catarina - while carrying mobs, blue/rare packs can be spawned (but without drop or exp bonus) Tora - multiple mob types / bosses etc. as reward - higher chance on unique in inventory, more better gems, more currency (but not mupliplied x7 - this would be downside to motivate people to go for dailies every day. If the encounters would be hard enough and challenging enough, it could give people better motivation to complete quests weekly, not daily, with the fact that daily quests would be more efficient to grind to lvl 8 (but at lvl 8 , dailies would lost meaning other than the daily unique chance and special mods items. I don't really like self bumps, but bump. Any community feedback onto this?

I'd like to see all the quest points pooled together, and to let you collect them up to a week's worth or so. Should you not log in on a particular day, or not be in the mood, or be using your limited time to pvp or race, or whatever... then no big deal.
Then, you'd be able to just run many Eleron quests if you like. (I think his has mechanics that are a little more fun.) But then, the idea for higher, harder and more rewarding "mega-daily's" becomes a very interesting twist. Do you run a quest for every master in your hideout, or just one mega-one for your favored master? Having to make choices is generally good. I'm suggesting having 1 point, 3 point, and 7 point master missions... and letting you use them on Eleron, or Vorici, or Zana, or whomever. These kinda things might be a great idea when they come back around to having an expansion where Masters are again the main focus. Again, I think you're ideas are good, but this is how I'd tweak it. I'd also let your other characters into the mix, by adding a "level adjusted" check box. Perhaps you get less master experience out of it, but you'll get a non-suicidal zone should you feel like retiring your main characters and playing an alt. Is what Zana offers worth more than other masters? Well, now you can balance everything by point adjusting. Lastly, some master missions are lame. How about a master mission that requires opening 3 fixed strong boxes (not-rollable with currency) with each having a rouge exile and a randomized strong type? Perhaps another mission can be to full clear a small but densely populate Beyond zone. (No walking simulators please.) Last edited by DragonsProphecy#4593 on Feb 23, 2015, 11:56:07 AM
