Technical Support - Error while switching Window settings? - Forum

Hey Community, i get an error while adjusting POE videosettings. I use 2 monitors. On my left monitor i can play POE without any problem. But if i want to play other games and let POE opened on my right (second) monitor i get an error. Why can i play POE on my left screen but not on my right screen? The error is called: Fatal error : Error loading shader:%1% Shaders/DownScaledParticles.fx If i click "ok" on that error window, this appears Failed to load Shaders/DownScaledParticles.fx If i click "ok" on that second error, this appears "the D3D device has non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released". I have a similar Problem with same "fatal Error" Message... If i open PoE a second time and switching it to the other Monitor, it works for a few mins, then i get the Error Message and PoE closes down. i have a GeForce GTX 760, i5-3570K and 16GB RAM. Hmmm. Have you tried running the DXsetup that comes in the POE redist folder? == Officially Retired 27/02/2019 == Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years. Same here, bought a 2nd monitor, exaclty the same as the 1st one, and when i try to move the POE window form the monitor i started the game in to the other one, the game crashes..-- same errors as Wr4ath...
