POE Crafting - POE crafting on your iPhone is coming *2/17 update!*

The app is slowing getting there. It is fully functional now with all weapon types. Users now can save different crafting sessions too!
I am currently really busy for the next few weeks until mid March so I don't think I will have much time to implement the amulet, rings, amours crafting. It is very likely that I will submit this weapon crafting only version now to the app store since I don't have much time at the moment and I want to release the app early.

The supported devices include any iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8+
iPhone 4S with iOS8+ can run this app too. But, the small screen size will cause problems with displaying the mods.

As usual, any feedback or comment is appreciated.

Hi Everyone

I decided I want make an iOS app that is related to Path of Exile a few weeks ago. I was planning on making an offline skill tree app, but I wanted something that can kill time when people are away from PC. So, I started the development of this crafting simulator app last week. The app will be free with no ads! (Donation based)

The short demo video above shows the current progress of the app. The app is able to craft and imprint items now. There is still a long way to go before I feel like it has enough functionalities for the first release to the App Store.

Things I plan to have in this app:

Able to save multiple crafting sessions
Load previous crafting sessions
Counter for orbs used
DPS calculations
Stats page for DPS, Crit chance, and etc
Create better UI
Add more base items into the database
Add rare mod pools into the database
Find out the order of displaying mods

I really want a csv file for all the base items and their stats so I don't have to enter them manually. If any knows how to get one please do tell me!

Please tell me if you are interested in this app and I want to hear from you guys.

Note: In the app every mod has a equal chance to be rolled, but it is still RNG.

Interested if it s released elsewhere than IOS.

How do you make sure that the rates and RNG are the same as in the game ? Assumption or official numbers ?

iOS currently has lack of Path of Exile related apps that why I want to release iOS version first. There might be an android version coming.

There is no guarantee that RNG is the same as in the game. Every mod now has an equal chance to be rolled. I will keep the RNG this way until the official RNG number is released.

That doesn't make sense - there's clearly not an equal chance to roll every mod, and Chriskang has extracted chances for mods on some items directly from the code.

I know those tables exist but they are incomplete.

It's not a big deal because almost all of the mods have the same weighting. A few of the top ones are lower than the others. The data is accurate as of 1.0.4.

I don't want to use something that is incomplete and outdated.

This is the only crafting sim I can find at the moment. With poedb down indefinitely, i cannot stress how happy this app makes me! Please keep up the hard work and THANK YOU!
