Elemental Adaptation Node

Anyone remember this gdlk node? No, me neither. For some reason I do miss it though. It seemed like such a must have node for everything. Too bad it wasn't on the other side of the tree where there's never anything delicious. Just claws and crabs.

Didn't that nod give something along the lines of: "+2% max fire res, +2% max light res and +2% max cold res"?

Yeah, talk about a must have node every time. Coupled with the elemental resistance aura (what is it called again?) and you were essentially set.

Heck, back before 1.0 it was 5%, and the only resist aura (Purity) gave additional resists in top of that (up to three percent?).

It was rather fun being able to take only half your health globe in damage from super-rippy elemental damage mobs.

Then they nerfed max resists while keeping elemental damage the same. And now the only way to not get instagibbed by those same dangerous mobs and bosses is to go crit with surgeon's flasks.
