+3 to Socketed Gem (Nerfed?)

Has anyone else successfully dropped any item with "+1 to socketed gems" AND "+2/1 to socketed [anything] gems" mods ever since the 1.2 Forsaken Masters patch? Did they nerf the drop rate of these two mods simultaneously occurring or something? Before 1.2 I was able to find several of these +3 to socketed gems items, but now I have not seen a single one drop.

what melee gems have good benefits from gem level anymore? viperstrike used to, but what else?
EDIT: seems frenzy with 10 stacks would get a 30% boost from lv23. elemental hit also gets a significant boost too. studying for GGG's C++ technical exam... Last edited by ログよし on Feb 7, 2015, 1:43:06 PM

+2 Melee Gems is a troll mod and never does anything usefull... sadly...
