Why am I unable to join a specific global channel all of a sudden?(820)

I've been afking in this channel joining all the free vorici missions that come up. I dont think I've said anything within the last 4 hours but all of a sudden Im unable to rejoin /global 820. What happened?

This usually occurs because the channel is full and you should be able to rejoin after a short period of time (5 minutes~).
