I bet Chris' account is the oldest because it has to be the first. :P
Hey I joined the second I knew the game existed. If only I had known sooner.

My original, non-staff account was created in December 2010, back when closed beta keys were still a thing.

The first announcements I noticed for CB were in late august of 2011 (at least here in europe) - back when I nearly immediately signed in... and had to wait and lurking around the forum (and doing stuff for the wiki later on) for another long 4 month until my key happened...

Was there really a phase before this that can be considered as 'closed beta' too? I'd imagine this more as kind of alpha or at least 'pre-beta'...

I may be condensing the whole sequence of events somewhat. I didn't get in right away after all.

I knew about poe at the time, but I clearly remember saying "I'd check back later" and not actually trying it until 2012-2013 of Jan or so, maybe later, maybe sooner? I can't recall at all, but I do remember clearly that I saw the game super early, but at the time was playing somethign else and had NO idea how good this game actually was. I do remember bookmarking it and holding off for a hell of a long time.

All I see is 2013 and younger noobs around here :p

Is there any other 2011 or am I alone?

Aug 1, 2011 here. I wanted to play before then, but the timer was never my buddy. If I'd had known back then that posting in the forum improved the chances of getting picked, I would have been in on every thread.

After waiting years for it, I was sick of D3 and one of the guys at work mentioned this game. I came, I bought a key, I bought a support pack.

My only regret is I handed my extra keys out to friends that still have yet to play it. Jerks.
