100% crit chance setup

With Ungil's Harmony I should have 10/10 crit hits, right?

And with Kongor's Undying Rage I should gain Onslaught buff on every crit hit.

But in the end I have Onslaught buff once for a while. It looks like Onslaught is on, when someone hits me in crit rather than when I hit crit.

Can someone confirm if is this a bug or I'm doing something not right?

Things which modify crit chance are applied to your base crit chance. So if you have a 5% chance to crit and wear a bonus 100% crit chance amulet you will end up with a 10% chance.

crit in this game is a whole different thing then say from D3, here, for melee its mainly based off the weapons base crit - then modified through the skill tree and gear.

100% crit, doesn't mean your crit goes to 100%.

on a side note - the idea of mixing the kongors maul with the ungils is rather clever.
its taking 2 items that are considered rather crap.... and together... not bad.

92% additional from the 5% base is your 9.6% that the tool tip shows.
you didnt get it, i know. Whatever
Crit chance is capped at 95% anyway, even if you were calculating it correctly.

I guess it depends on your alternatives.
You still have critical strikes to apply freezen/burn/shock.
"Hits cannot be evaded" without taking ResoluteTechnics.

Damage schould also be ok when in onslaught-mode.
Doesn't sound bad to me.
