Uniques that almost enable builds

What unique do you want to use to enable a build, but it just isn't quite good enough? And how would you change it?

converts 50% of chaos damage to physical damage

+30 chaos resistance on the armor itself

I simply can't bring myself to use it at the moment, it just is not up to the GGG standard i expect.

another option for bramblejack is to make it work like the skill dispersion in dota:
part of the damage taken is absorbed and then reflected in an area around.

I'd love to do some sort of crazy 2H fire damage build with Oro's Sacrifice but the DPS is just way too low and 2H is too weak in general, even if its DPS were fine.

People use the term "enable" differently than it was originally used.

Current use seems to mean "powerful enough to make a marginal build succeed".

It was original used for items that would be essential to a certain build... like facebreakers for playing unarmed. In D2 there were quite a few... like claws that would let an assassin use Whirlwind. Those were called 'build enabling' because without them, there would be absolutely no way to play that way.

We're using the term wrong and it's a sign of the game's main weakness. The only way to compensate for a marginal build is to load it down with over-powered items.
I want a Dreamfeather buff so that sexy unique can get the attention it deserves and be used in a wider variety of builds.

Shackles of the wretched puts too much burden on the rest of your setup for such a desync prone item (cast when stunned). It needs a small added benefit. +50 ES would be nice.
