Limbo for Hardcore Characters

***New idea*** for the haters that say I'm trolling.
Hi GGG, Here's a new original idea. If your HC character dies, that character is sent into limbo. The player is sent to the main menu. At the main menu, when you click on that charter, you're presented with a choice: "Send character to Standard League" or "Begin Sacrifice Ritual" The sacrifice option would require the player to make another character of the same class, with at least the same level in the hardcore league. If you chose to sacrifice said character, you can bring back your limbo character with all their gear, at the expense of your newer character being lost forever. This isn't as "hardcore" as hardcore is today, but dying would still not be taken lightly. Now I understand a large number of players will cry foul and say, "Dead is dead in Hardcore", but this d-sync issue with your servers has been unresolved for years. Why not just play standard? "Fixing the endgame was hard - No matter how hard we buffed red maps, people would keep spamming Gorges.

At any rate, 5c is a too small sum. Increase it to a few Exalts and make it so that all gear is lost when a character is returned to hardcore. This would still not be considered "hardcore" by many, but at least, it is not as laughable as 5c.

" Patch 1.3.1 Mirror of Kalandra now creates a mirrored copy of your character. Mirrored characters can not change items nor level up any gems. Use it before RIP. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Not that this would be done, this is too hilarious though, damn. Wanna feed the RMT sites pockets, right? Thats all this would do. Besides, no one plays HC for the sake of going back to HC, so troll some other forum. Maybe troll the D3 forum for HC chars get to go back to HC after paying 100 gold. :P |
