About "trading ethics" again

As title says, I'm kind of go tired of Torment (lvled to 86, and that is it) and tho to myself "Well, might as well try Bloodlines - people there are top of out community".

I never played HC leagues before (or HC in general), but after some time of consideration I tho I'm ready.

So, I'm leveling up, everything is nice and dandy. I get frozen, things get a little dirty, but I'm making it up alive. "Ah derp, think I need Wanderlust boots!". poe.xyz I go...

And let the horror begin.

So, I admit, I might have posted the price in the first message. But the reaction?...
At the same time, I'm reading a thread, that people advice NEW PLAYER to play a hardcore league.
So now, you are a new guy, who knows nothing about anything, and he is trying to an item. What he is faced with? This.

He gets frustrated, he doesn't know what the hell is going on. He quits.

I watched Podcast today, and they were talking a lot about trading. All 3 of them are mocking such trading messages, without realizing that there might be people who are completely new to the game. (I'm not new to the game, I should have known that this is a fatal offense to forget to post a b/o price when messaging... mea culpa).

Why I'm posting this? Because I see everyone seem to go on the "LEARN TO TRADE OMFG" train, without any consideration to new people, who in fact have no way of learning how to trade properly, with this Podcast strengthening this trend.

Can we be a little more civilized about being social?

EDIT: 2 minutes after that, my internet died and my character is in Standard. (I think I might have stayed connected for like 2 minutes) I think I'm done with PoE for a long while. Guess that damn lightning ring is not for me to have ;___;

Honestly, I played some games with "hardcore" mode, and usually people there were helpful and in general less of an asses.

Fun fact is that I did a lot of trading in Torment and Standard, and previous leagues, and NEVER seen a reaction like that ;___;

Ahhhh... don't quit over one asshole! Jesus man there's one behind every pile dude i wouldn't worry so much about it! you just happened to find one who does shit like that! it all RNG man!

I wouldn't worry much about it and just remember to tell people the price! the majority of people will not treat you like this especially over something simple like this!

We know your a nice guy... i could tell that when you told him the price after he cussed you!
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.
I still don't understand why people get upset about bad responses. I guess some of you just aren't social people.

Pro tip: Some people are a-holes. Doesn't matter what you are doing or where you go. Some people just suck.

This is just an ignore and move-on situation. If a guy doesn't want to respond because you didn't say the price, its his problem and loss on a sale. On to the next.

I'm not sure how you got the impression that hardcore players are the "top" of the community when so many of them constantly demean anyone who doesn't play in the hardcore leagues as "scrubcore" players.
Nice story but how many others have you had this experience with? This is just 1 case, you need to do a little bit better before you can call HC trading a failure and people there rude.
Had similar experience just other way around, just put them to block list.

I had my item with price tag and dude started to flame and trash talk cause he wanted to pay half of my price, kek.

Not saying all hardcore is like this, but my point was more about the Podcast, and people at the top of the community joking around it, and not considering what people might actually be getting out of it.

But honestly, that DC just after that was just too much. : - / I really started to feel like I'm gonna go far with that character.
