I accidently reset my account

I didnt play PoE for a long time and today I was thinking to start it again. I loged in with my old account and saw that it would be complicated to play with 50+ lvl characters and to find myself in all that items in stash after long break period so I decided to make a new fresh account. I used same E-mail and it didnt say its already in use so i thought that i can make 2 accounts under one E-mail. I got verification mail and activated it and now I saw that all my characters and items are gone :(... I dont know how I didnt active my old one account because I played on it for a long time. Can any support help me with this? Is there any way to backup my account to before it was verificated ?

Problem solved. My acc is restored and I must say u guys really have one of the best supports. You can lock this thread.
