Lol if you want to use LGOH then a 5 Link shav will do.

6 off colour shav is too hard. The last link will be a blue -support gem.

Innervate wont help you, since you must use Molten/LS to last hit mobs, but without culling strike, it's not good.


I think Increase are Effect is the best.

Just counted about 480 chromes, i'm screwed but I will still try.

Works well, but I feel the "Lust for Carnage" notable is better, for solo play. For groups you will need to have culling strike or you wont get life back.

BTW I don't use Voidbringer with LGOH, the mana cost its to high and you only able to cast 2-3 times before running out of life.

I used to play MS & LS with or without "Lust for Carnage" both seems good. For 2.0 I plan to try Fortify instead of LGOH.

Yes, 2.0.1 we must change into Fortify link and use Arctic armour.

So we run Bloodrage + Arctic armour+ 1 Herald + Golem on helm, or use Enlighten instead of blood rage if you dont have shav ring.

Voidbringer with curse on hit is important. 98% fire res + new arctic armour is enough. And with fortify = overkill.


3 points for "Lust for Carnage" is a bad trade. only 4 life gain on hit and 20 life gain on kill zzzz.

You have problem with Voidbringer because you're using a lv 20 Molten strike, and it's 8 mana cost.

use a lv 1-2 Molten for 6 mana cost, it'll help you alot.

Depending on the final state of jewels, we can also consider the one that gives 10% chance to fortify on hit instead of using it as a link, room permitting.

You'r right about the MS, I though was 8 mana at any lvl. Btw this is the 3rd MS I lvl up to 20 hehe.

Also the Leo -20% damage overtime works very well for RF in live, for beta BR it helps you to regen more than degen.

Vaal Pact no longer penalizes the amount of life Leeched, it will now apply 100% of life leeched instantly, while still not allowing Life Regeneration.

Vaal Pact has also been moved to between the Shadow and Ranger on the passive tree.


If I'm reading this correctly our spells are getting buffed and Vaal Pact is gonna be better than ever. Before 1.2 it was 100% but you couldn't use life flasks.

+ Spell effective buff : Look like that but we actually gain only 25% dps back. Because they nerf Herald bonus dmg by 50% in beta. But it still good.

+Vaal pact Change : Nice change. But since they move it to Shadow/ranger, We may have problem with streng and skill point. GGG love bow user.

Dex not a problem anymore. But if they keep Specialised Jewel then it's all good.

+ 10% chance to fortify on hit : Not so soon, maybe forever in database lol.

+ New tempest shield buff : looking for it, if it still give extra block and lightning dmg then i'll it instead of bloodrage

New vaal pact = very good. Near Harrier and resver node.

With the new change maybe we can use Ironwill/ Lightning pen instead of life leech. And use Doryani belt for leech, need to test 1st.
