Latency issues American gateway

Fitzy_GGG when I try to run WinMTR with double click it says unable to get raw socket. When I right click and run as 'Administrator' and try pathofexile.com it just hangs. What would you recommend?

I was playing on my 78 wizard when I got a lag spike. /oos did nothing. This is a bloodlines character so I didn't give it much time before closing my game client. Came back in, character was thankfully still in bloodlines.

Switched over to a lvl 30 high block build on bloodlines, lag spike... I let it go until the client timed out (15-30s?) Logged back in and character was in standard league.

My health bar did not drop 1 bit, nor did any monsters move on my screen.

I log in on a torment character, same thing cept I don't have to worry about dieing. The game is unplayable for me right now, unfortunately.

Lol, I can't even download the patch. Look at my insane dl speed! I did a check on speedtest.net and got 70mb down and 10 up so it's not me.

Hmmm, seems to be just the patch server for me. Game seems fine now that the patch is finished.

FWIW, here is my WinMTR for the patch server:

This is still happening
i like big crits and i cannot lie, you otha brothas cant denyyy....
Last night I streamed for a while and caught several occurrences of this problem.

http://www.twitch.tv/sibbletv/c/5898634

This is a 10 minute highlight of me trying to get to the Market Sewers. Every time I'd get there I'd hang and have to restart. I changed my gateway to Europe and tried again, only to select the same damn instances that I was already in so that problem happened again. The problem only went away after I was both: 1) Using the Europe Gateway and 2) Made a new instance

EDIT: You'll notice I was copying random numbers before logging. That was my experience, I was copying it so I could compare to see if I died.

DeathBringeR638 - you will need to contact your service provider as the high latency immediately begins with your second hop. Your ISP shoud be able to provide some help.

Hi Fitzy_GGG,

thanks for your response!

Do you mean the second line or the third line?

Second line: No response from host - 100 | 532 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Third line: 83-169-173-166-isp.superkabel.de - 1 | 2645 | 2644 | 7 | 46 | 2209 | 16 |

Is this second line normal? It seems strange that there is no response from host as the second step.

I will certainly contact my ISP to try to sort this out. However, in the meantime, do you have some additional things I can check on my side to rule out possible other sources of the problem? For example, is there a good program to make some sort of "computer health check" (e.g. I want to check the temperature of the graphics card and voltage taken by it while playing the game, as these seemed to cause trouble in the past)?

Thanks again and best regards,
Stefan aka Deathbringer

I use Core Temp (free program) to monitor CPU temps, and EVGA Precision X to monitor GPU temps. As long as your CPU/GPU has thermistors integrated ( I'd guess that all modern GPU/CPU's do) the programs listed above will give you readouts of your temperatures.

There are many other programs that can do the same thing, these are just the two I run. YMMV.

My issue was not after all the GGG servers. It was an issue with my ISP. Just wanted to close up this case if it was still open.
