well the attitude is frustration really.
frustration about bringing up the exact same topics every now and then for so long (since Beta), and not only see little change - but actually see things change for the worse due to neglect.
dig up some of my older posts, and you'll find an entirely different tone.
I still attempt to write in that tone once in a while, but it's hard to contain the frustration.

no one outside GGG can really "control" what they do.
not even people who donated literally thousands of dollars - enough to buy shares in GGG if they had any - seem to affect what they do and the decisions they make.
this kind of unrelenting stubbornness and fear of change, can be a good thing in some cases - but often it is not.

so yes, I did adapt. I did "learn to deal with it". otherwise I won't be here all this time.
despite everything, I really do enjoy playing the game.
but seeing the game take this nose-dive in performance, and have virtually all the things I and literally countless others brought up, never addressed in the slightest, while GGG seem to focus on "anything but" while petting Chris' precious Ring Of Economy... well now you understand why I'm such an "easy target" to troll.

Shadow: That was fun

^ i hear ya. It is what it is at this point.
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
Money makes money. If you have a lot of money, you are likely to have even more money. And with even more money, you can generate money even faster. This is how it is. Unless some artificial things happen, it will always be like this. Is it bad? Why would it? Economy is just fine.

Can you buy stuff? Yes you can. Can you sell stuff? Yes you can. This is what GGG's economy is about. Mitigating RNG, allowing you to buy gear you did not happen to find when you are lvling up. It works just fine.

I'd agree that GGG should focus on stuff like "fucking game engine and netcode", but economy is nowhere near bad. It got better lately. One change to HP not only made gameplay changes, but also made Kaom's Heart a lot cheaper and Belly of The Beast a lot more valuable. Good change, no legacies. ggGGG wp?

Have you ever thought that maybe the game is going in the direction GGG wants to take it?

You may not like it but it looks like thats exactly how it is.

And dont start this pity me crap now ok, no one targets you, you post on an open forum, you make yourself a target, especially with threads like these where you know exactly all you have to do is not to look at some other guys damn shop.
Nothing is wrong with the economy, it is there to give people the ability to buy and sell stuff. It does that just fine. Sure some people have amassed a lot of wealth incomparable to the average and thus have more effect on the economy but so what? It's to be expected in a free market, other people can still go about their business just fine.

It might have been a problem if there was a reason that we had to participate in it (like in RL) but there isn't. Add to this that even the richest people in the game don't have complete control over the economy as they have only a limited control over supply and none on demand. Vendor prices and recipes help keep lower level trading somewhat consistent since they hardly change at all.

Only those who feel they can gain something participate in the economy and those people are able to do so. If all it takes to make someone uncomfortable is to look at someone elses shop then there is nothing to be done, with or without an economy.

Good thing I don't own too much wealth. Still have some levels to go (I guess that one level up is a huge gap in wealth ;__;), until RMT accusations begin. Or I'll just keep dying, and accumulate even more wealth. Ah derp.

And as someone else said, this could be what GGG was aiming for. This creates communities, where some "popular" people do stuff, like say creating these well known name of rares, doing some crazy projects like +1 Level 6L Shavs, or other crap. Or even those unique-to-rare base belt with IIR (forgot the name of the base).

Just get over it and do your thing.
