" Not seeing the problem here then I guess... At any given time everyone is either happy or unhappy. There are degrees of each of course but you have to be one or the other. If the notion of happiness offends you, then you must prefer being unhappy. And if you are offended by the notion of happiness then it must make you unhappy, which is the way you like to be, ergo while it offends you it also benefits you by helping you stay in your preferred state of being.
