is GeForce GTX 650 a good gpu for poe?

i'm thinking about buying this card right here. do you think this is a good choice?

I used to have terrible lag in PoE when I played in a team. Anywhere there was lightning, rain etc my computer would give me 10fps tops. Docks was an absolute nightmare.

Then I got an Nvidia GTX 970.

Problem solved.

I have this card only with "TI" cooling. It is a great graphic card. Not only you can play POE on max settings, but many new titles are running smoothly. Price is good as I can see. I bought it for 150$ or more. So buy it and enjoy playing.

I wouldn't buy anything with under 2gb memory, preferably 3+. New games are using more and more memory at this point, even on lowest settings. If your budget is very limited, you could go with that for now, but an upgrade will be needed a lot sooner. Also 6xx series is old tech, so I'd look replacement from 700 series or from AMD.

get this, but also invest on a SSD. budget so you can get both :)

Forget all the noise. Im running PoE on Max everything on a 2GB 650Ti Boost. Don't overpay for bragging rights. Unless you're hardcore into FPS' don't bother with more.

I wasn't impressed with the performance of PoE on a 650 and 750 in 1920x1980. It works on low to med settings, and no shadows, but there were fps drops. The Ti models are better, but I have no first hand experience with those, just with the regular 650 and 750. I eventually restored a desktop I had sitting around that runs a GTX 570, and that one plays the game beautifully even with high settings and shadows.

I would recommend against a 650 for PoE.
