That +40 life from the bandit

In general what is better now, +40 to life or get the passive point and put it in a 5% life node.

I'd imagine that would depend on how close you are on the skill tree to picking up one more life node.

Base life is almost always better

If you have 1000 base life, 5% node is worth 50 life. If you have 150% increased life, bandit is worth 100 life.

Generally, the bandit is better.

Until your resistances are capped by gear and other sources, rendering the bandit useless. The 8% is good while leveling with bad gear but quite neglible in end. Base life is a strong boost to survivability while leveling and also scales well with passives. So yes, life is generally the best one of the three. Kill em all if you're going CI.

uhm... that rewards is 8% to all resists.. not 8% to maximum, that would be incredibly OP, and 8% all rez for a skill point is the worse rewards from all of the difficulties because you cap your resistances with gear anyway.

But for low life builds vic where its unique heavy 8% all res helps tremendously capping ur res. The mana on the other hand...

Yes, because 8% Resistances are way better than 40 Life if you are not capped.
