I don't mind when someone takes a spirit and makes a drink out of it. Adding soda to rum? Ok. Coke flavored rum? FUCK NO!
I used to work with a man that was stationed in Puerto Rico after WW2. They use to by the black rum because it was considered the waste product and was all they could afford. Now its the most expensive. Why? Idiots and marketing and more idiots. |

Even tho I'll drink pretty much anything alcoholic. Taste has nothing to do with it. The higher the alcohol content the better. "Withdrawing in disgust is not the same as apathy"

I don't care what he drinks now. But the point he was making is valid. Marketing can sell you shit and make you feel special for it.
