Few wander questions.

Hello,


1) I would like to know if nodes like Lava Lash affect count towards Wands?
"30% increased fire damage with weapons"
Wand is a weapon, right? You can stab eyes with it pretty efficiently.



2) Do spells like "Power Siphon" get affected by spell damage? Do spell damage nodes affect Power Siphon damage?



3) I am thinking about Elemental Hit wander. Would it be possible?



4) What are best defense mechanisms for wanders?
Thinking about tons of life, a shield and resistances.

3) Possible, yes. I have this in mind for 1.3 too.

1) Yes
2) Power Siphon is a "Projectile" and an "Attack" not a spell. Look at it ingame or on the wiki. So the answer is no, not without the Crown of Eyes unique (and if you need to ask then you can't afford it)
3) Possible yes, viable - probably not.
4) Hard to say, you can do anything really - you can go CI or life and block or dodge. As with any ranged the best defence is keeping enemies away from you (knockback, freeze etc). resistances is not really a defence mechanism, it's just something you need to have at 75% to not be oneshot later in the game.
