What to do with orbs

What is the best thing to do with orbs of augmentation and orb of transmutation?

I know how to craft with them and use them on maps but i have a ton of them just stackpiling.
Should i vendor them transmutation -> augmentation -> alteration -> jewellers
or there is a better and more efficient way of using/trading them?

The usual, rerolling maps, rerolling strongboxes, getting two good base mods for elreon crafting...

But if you're still earning them faster than you're spending them you can turn them to fusings. If you have a choice selection of masters you can get a discount on every step of that process, it adds up nicely.
