I got rolled back a few minutes too when it crashed...
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

Forked out $90 for MTXs in the last two days and haven't even been able to log back in since getting 'failed to join instance' 25 minutes ago.

Sorry for the hassle. I've heard from the server guys and apparently there is a public issue between AU/NZ and SoftLayer at the moment.
