UI Flickering

Again: The Microsoft-KBs about updating DirectX are no help! All that is listed there are the steps to UPGRADE DirectX, but not to reinstall! You cannot uninstall DirectX under Win8 and install it again, and you CANNOT force it to "overinstall" since the newest version is recognised even if you change the versionnumber in the regestry and it will simply do nothing when executing the install-routine.
Standard practice is to just use the package manager (wusa /uininstall kb:<kbID>) however this will not uninstall the entirety of DX anyway.

Since NT6 the vast majority of DX functionality is provided by the hardware vendor as part of their driver package; the only remaining components of DX are the runtime which is a very thin layer (implemented as several DLLs) and if there were a problem there, it would a lot more obvious than a simple visual anomaly.

Perhaps the Update fixed it, or some of the changes we did above. Until now the error did not show itself anymore. I will post about this in a week again, then we can be sure i think, due to the randomness of the Flickering up to now.
