" Don't the native people of Australia have a name they use for themselves, or is it more like in North America, in which there is no blanket native language from which to draw a term? Anyway, love my turkey, but I have to wonder: What will GGG do for TG next year? Buckled shoes? A big Rock? =0[.]o= =^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/

" Ah, the perfect new pet to release on Thanksgiving day. Note: Also comes in handy to prevent starvation. Much better than the fowl tasting Roah. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. First a chicken, now a turkey. GGG just wants to topple the delicate balance that is BLOW.

" What next, an Ostrich maybe? Nothing tops my kiwi (I call him Sam) that immediately states... you've been playing PoE for that long. His ability to avoid death for almost 2 years is remarkable. Since this is GGG and New Zealand, a Moa would be more fitting. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."

" I'd buy a ridable Roah in an instant (needs to have 50% increased speed over running), "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."

To the two separate comments of the turkey being big, and green. The male turkey is quite tall and when puffing its chest can appear quite bulky. And their feathers actually do get a reflective green shimmer similar to a peacock, though obviously not as dramatically, during the mating season. I haven't seen one in game yet, but the image on the site looks pretty damn good to me.
As for breaking immersion. Do you see all the shipwrecks in Wraeclast? Think of all the animal cargo that ended up washing ashore... I can't really fault GGG on any animal they toss in as a pet. GGG I think you should do pigs next, lets get these farm hideouts going! I can see your / Back is turned and / If I could I'd / Stick my knife in.

" At least a guillotine would be somewhat accurate. As it stands turkeys and buckled attire are not representative of thanksgiving as it actually occurred, but are just artifacts of the common depiction of thanksgiving that didn't appear until many years after the original celebration. |
