Because this is a competitive game, sure it's an aRPG which are all about random, chance, lucky, finding, but the competitive aspect is becoming more important, in that more and more random is getting removed from racing.

TL;DR, GGG don't want competition to be settled by aRPG random.

They rather it settled by jsp and MHs.

Anyway, the 1 week race is just an unimportant filler event, so that basement dwellers don't go outside and are killed by UV radiation.

Balancing the whole game because of this filler event is... totally in line with GGG balance superteam philosophy :P
