If you haven't played FC3, FC4 is your choice (it's basically FC3.1). DA3 I can't really recommend to anyone, it's RPG light with a stupid story, ridiculously cliché characters, a bland combat system... It just looks nice, that's literally all it has going for it.
This War of Mine seems to be a sleeper hit, I will buy it in a week or so, looks very interesting. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
