GGG,please nerf corrupting blood+inc phys dmg aura combo

with all that gfx vomit it is easy to not notice this stuff

also, CB damage depends on mob 'per swing' damage. so if the mob with CB was something like zombie (very slow, but very strong hits) then.. yeah, it kills very quickly

but.. i play selfcast spark with 2800 life and 20 stacks of CB are yet to kill me. leech softens them up and then one press of a flask and im set.

btw - where are lightning thorns? these were very popular and now, i have yet to see one

did ggg remove these due to abundance of CoC/mjolnr builds that were pretty much guaranteed to die on a pack of 'thorned' mobs?

This is not my first high aps char and i had multiple encounters with CB mobs also and i always had time to react,but this,this was crazy.
And here i'm talking about CB mobs with increased phys dmg aura.I'm pretty sure you didnt had many seconds to react when you enconter that type of mob with damage mods on map,especially with chars that are squisher than shit and with no life regen as you said..

To clarify things,I'm talking here about CB mobs with inc phys damage aura in high lv maps,not regular CB mobs.
And in beyond,you cant see when that shit spawns,there are like 20 mobs around you,and you are dead in sec.
I never write whineing posts,but i'm fuckin frustrated with this shit.

Fair enough.

Yes, the mechanic can be deadly under the right conditions. That is key. Then again, can't that be said for every mechanic?

Nerfing CB because of the biggest outlier is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Yeah,that's true,''under the right conditions'',but you dont need more than that 1 right condition,you dont have 2 lifes in HC leagues.
When i was starting to play this char,i knewed that i will die from CB,it was just matter of time when the right condition will happen.

That right condition,lv 78+monster(especially devourers,avian wretches and bears) with phys aura and some extra dmg from map mod is what i'm talking about here,that OP,it's really hard to react when that situaton happens,especially in beyond,everybody who playin beyond know what i'm talking about.

There is no time to reroll now with 4 days left of leaugue,that's the main reason why i'm angry lol.
I dont have problem with dying in HC,that's the part of game,my problem is when i die from something from which i almost cant defend.

I would add some redundancy feedback for CB-mobs. Like a reddish mist that surround them, and some sound effects when you hit them. This way you have a better chance of planning an angle of attack.

As sidtherat already pointed out, Corrupting Blood has the 'odd' way of scaling via the mob's damage that is done via their basic 'melee hit' attack. Anything that amplifies that like Inc. Physical damage auras, monster damage map mods, etc, etc, will amplify CB, and to the point where it can be nasty even at only 3-5 stacks. It's probably the worst on the necromancers because despite them rarely using their melee attack, it has a very, very powerful base damage (why it does is beyond me) and thus if one is modded with CB then it's going to hurt. Honestly, I think CB needs a little balancing if this type of damage correlation is going to be used and it should be more 'even' amongst monsters in terms of how much damage it causes and not swing so wildly from type to type.

I think this is a good idea. BUT!

The problem is, any visual indicator in this game is lost in a fog of particles and effects. It's a deeper problem that prevents stuff like this from being effective. I'm all about obvious advertisement of danger, but I doubt it would be as impactful as you (or I) would want.
