Why does it lag like this? If I'm capable of streaming with no issues, or play other games, then why do they always blame that it's my connection, my ISP? Everytime I go to town via portal, I start lagging (network lattency). I really wonder if there are ports to be forwarded.

" If you disable all your antivirus/firewall/security settings in your software and hardware (like router) then it shouldn't matter about forwarding ports. PoE by default does not require any ports to be forwarded as the port forwarding is generally only for inbound connections to be established. Most modern routers allow outbound connections without forwarding. In your case, there are no PoE connections attempting to connect back to a port that isn't already established as an outgoing connection. | |

It's so frustrating to play. I don't understand why it always happens when I have to tp to town. If it's not always, it's almost always! It triggers the lag. Funny thing, I complain it on global chat and they see my chat coming in their way, but I can't even see my chat going into the chat. If it doesn't fix by itself after a minute or two, I get an unexpected disconnection error, and I'm back to Main Menu. When it fixes, the chat suddenly is bombarded with all the missing chat, like trying to catch-up. Then if I am actually able to get my stuff done in town and return to my portal, the lag goes on with me. It feels like there's something in town that is triggering this lag... it's so annoying. It is reproducible. | |

Are you using a wireless router, or are you connecting via Ethernet cable? You're getting what looks to be a pretty significant amount of packet loss and latency to your router, which is very likely to be what's causing the rest of your problems.

Ideally, there really shouldn't be any latency and definitely shouldn't be any packet loss. This is the first place I'd start looking. I'm connected via Ethernet cable. I can't rule the cable out, it's a 15 meters long cable, properly installed across 2 rooms in this house. I don't really have a way to test another cable.

Thank you for that. It seems that something strange is happening with your network. Could you please try unplugging your network cables then plugging them back in again. Please ensure that they're plugged in securely and are not damaged at all. I would also recommend restarting your router at the same time as your computer.
Once you've done this, please run the WinMTR again and send us the results.
