Bug: Race Points

I finished the one hour party a little over an hour ago. I waited about an hour to see if I received the points but I didn't. I hit level 19 and the race closed, I had a dot from The Black Widow (Viper Strike) and it killed me while my character was frozen due to the race closing. I should have got the points since I was alive as the timer ended.

No, you shouldn't have. Attacks initiated before the end of the race get completed. If you were hit with a damage over time before the race ended, you can still die if it does enough damage. It works in your favor too. I once leveled after a race ended because I still had Spectral Throws in the air at the end that killed monsters after the end.
