A guide has been posted here which covers general aspects and strategies of racing.

A summary of Time based events:

Timed based events are new type of event introduced in Race Season 9, they are designed to create a new kind of competitive environment where players compete not by character experience, but by their capabilities to progress through the game and complete specific objectives, such as killing bosses.

The boss required to be defeated for this race is: Piety, located in Lunaris Temple Level 3.

  • The time recorded is based from the beginning of the race, not when your character is created.
  • Characters will not appear on the ladder until they have completed the objective.
  • Characters are not required to have completed the time based objective in order to receive points for the other objectives, such as points awarded for reaching certain levels.
  • Characters who die after completing the objective, will still be counted for receiving reward points except for the level-specific prizes.
  • Points are awarded at the end of the race, do not delete your characters until they have been moved to the permanent leagues.

Yeah, more like 10pts for 1hr45min.

Regardless, I didn't realize how many people race solely for the points and rewards. Sure, a free Bringer one month into the next league is cool, but if you don't enjoy racing, why do you even do it?

**Edit: I see you have raced in one Endless Ledge this season and 6 total races in all seasons combined. There is a word I would use to describe complaining for the sake of complaining. You used it in the quoted text.

30 minute Brutus kill would be better here I think, even though it's not in this season. Two 4hour races this close to each other is kind of silly
there are several brutus kills next week

A whopping 152 players managed to hit the 10 point rung in the last one of these. Of those, only 24 managed to use less than 2 hours to do it.

It will be interesting to see the final numbers at the end of this one.
