Vaal gem soul counter shouldnt reset between instances

dont get reseted between instances

should be the same for vaal gem

it would even make those gem more fun to play with

it was weither no charge stack or reset... they used both downside...

Except for the fact that they've balanced instances around it. The whole "find the beasts in their den" idea is to keep us from overwhelming them with a Vaal skill.

Or using them 6 times per (uber) Atziri (basically you would want to use them only three times anyway for split phases).
The real problem with this would be that people could recharge during a boss fight, by leaving the instance and starting up a far easier one to recharge. Then port back in and whammy the boss. Repeat. That play style gets pretty demoralizing after a while, and leads to players not feeling like they've actually beat the boss, but cheated their way past him. The skills are balanced around the premise that you can't chain them on the same encounter.

...and that takes portals, right? Portals in maps can only be used so many times and even then it takes time to load the instances.

So what's the problem when we have builds that can one-shot Atziri? Who gives a frack about people using a vaal skill a few times?

You can use the same vaal gem multiple times in one zone.

As far as the souls carrying over between zones, no.

Just no.


Yeah, when you use something like V. Storm Call.

I really don't care if they let souls carry from instance to instance, since I find them to be utterly useless and don't ever use them.

What I do care about are the people that make it such an issue when they're insignificant. Look at an incinerate build. Less than five exalted if you want really good gear and it can burn Atziri faster than any vaal skill would. Why even go farm for souls if it just slows you down?
