Need help with connection

Hi, I don't know if you can help with the connection but i ll try to explain whats happenning and maybe you have a solution.
Im from Argentina, normally i have 180-200 ms with the server. I enter by america gateway because it always worked better than the others (with europe and australia i had 300 400 ms). But lately the ms is going up i have 280 300 with america gateway, and europe is going down a bit to the same range. Australia still working bad. So its really hard to play with 300ms, I need to know if thre is any way to improve this. I checked my internet connection adn the modem parametres are all in the correct number (noise ratio, Tx, etc..) and my download speed is working fine. So i guess is a problem from where my ISP is routing the connection. There is any way to check this? i dont have the server IP to do a ping or something. So if someone can help me here i ll appreciate it. | |

Same here in Brazil; almost exactly the same numbers, during a good three to four hours per day.

You can find the server addresses here. This page also allows you to perform an extended trace to narrow down the cause of your issue. I would recommend playing Path of Exile and starting up this WinMTR when you experience these latency issues, and letting the WinMTR run for 300 packets sent.

Problems started again, I coudlnt make work WinMTR.
So i did a normal tracert, i dont know much but i can see 2 things: - There is someinternal problem in my ISP(Fibertel.com.ar) because from line 3 to 5 i lose everything. - Later there is a big jump in line 9, i guess that is because my connection enter the United States. But later there is horrible jump in line 12. I cant play with that MS, can you tell me if this is problem of my ISP? or something going wrong in USA? Because from what i can read(remember im not expert here), the jump is in USA.

When you report that you get errors, it usually helps when you provide the error message.

" It was something about Raw Spot or something like that, but i google it and the solution was right click and open as an adminsitrator to fix it. Thats why i dont say the error... If u read my full post i told u i open the program, fill the host, when i clikc start nothing happends. " I'll do it tomorrow when i get back from work, because now its fixed i have 180ms. At night it fix the ms i dont know why.

I read the post, but error messages usually point to issues and in your case could have been of more information as to why the trace didn't work. If you can get the real error message here, it's important. You shouldn't omit details because you don't think they're relevant. Usually they are.
Is likely the error is still related, even though you were able to open the app still. It's likely an issue with your network settings or something similar. |
