Conspicuous DC issue

5 DC's in 15min
no lag or significant framedrops
some minor desync, only on 2 occasions followed by DC
all DC's occured in temple map (+/- 80% iiq)
hurricane mf build (GMP, pierce, fast attack speed)
no history of sequential DC's
played abundantly under same conditions without issues

Yeah, I've been taking the same route to the store almost every day for months, and never had any problems, but just today it took twice as long. Nobody else at the store had problems, but I think it's the store's fault. So conspicuous.

His point that when it comes to networks and the internet in general, just because something has worked for a long time and suddenly doesn't, that doesn't make it automatically the server's fault.

There are a LOT of things that can go wrong between your PC and the destination server. His analogy was not that far off. A packet on the internet is much like you driving somewhere in your car. You get into your car, drive out of your driveway, go down one road, make a turn somewhere, go down another road, make another turn, and eventually after doing this a bit, you end up at your destination. If a road on your trip was under construction or unusually heavy traffic, you would have issues getting to your destination, correct? But you wouldn't blame that on the destination itself would you? No. You would blame it on the traffic or the road construction.

The internet is very similar to that, only far more complex.
