Can someone pls explain to me how CoC works??

Hi,

I don't quite understand how CoC strike works... I have CoC linked to Fireball but it never gets fired? How do I set it off?

My character is level 41 and I'm sure I'm doing critical strikes.

An attack (with a weapon - spectral throw/barrage etc) will cast a linked spell on critical strike, fireball is not an attack, so no cast.

You need to use it with an attack, not a spell.

Put barrage, split arrow, cyclone or whatever link it with Coc, link more spells in it.
Then you use the attack, every time the attack crits, you get a free spell for each spell linked.

Well to be more specific, you link the attack and spell gems to Cast on Critical Strike. When your attack is critical, each landed hit of the attack will roll the chance to cast a spell, once per spell gem linked.


So with this gem chain when I use Barrage once I shoot 8 projectiles forward. If it is critical, each time a wand projectile hits an enemy it will roll the chance to cast Freezing Pulse and roll a second time for the chance to cast Ice Spear.
