Steam market items to the game

Well, I've been playing PoE with the standalone client, but I have a steam account wich I use to play other games.
So, once I was taking a look at the steam market and then I found a PoE item (Engraved Skull). Bought that! I linked my steam account to my PoE account and nothing happened.

Question:

What do I need to do to claim my PoE item, wich is in my steam inventory.
