Launcher stuck at checking resources

Long time no playing game.
Today start it and launcher stuck at checking resources. Disable antivirus and brandmauer, run as administrator, uninstall game and install - all this not help. Tried install on anoter disks - not result. Anyone know what happens? Thanks | |

How long did you let it sit? It can take a very long time on some systems.
You can also try running the ggpk defrag app linked in the Consolidated Technical sticky post. | |

About two hours!
I uninstall game before and now it not full installed because main files not downloaded. Launcher stuck. gggpk defrag work fine but Content.ggpk file size is 94 bites only! Last edited by IfritZ on Oct 14, 2014, 12:22:28 PM

And you're sure all antivirus/firewall/security software is disabled and you're right-clicking poe and selecting "Run as Administrator"?
If so, can you post the last few lines of the Client.txt file in the logs folder so we can see where it's getting stuck? | |

Yes. I use Dr.Web Security Space and disable all its functions incl. brandmauer.
Select "Run as Administrator". Here is last lines of the Client.txt file

it looks proper.
those are all the files it's queueing for download. That's what it's doing at the Checking Resources phase. Is scanning the Content.ggpk file looking for what needs download. My suggestion is to ensure what I said before and let it continue to run. Every once in a while check the log file to make sure it's changing. You also might want to delete the ggpk file again let it run. | |

I left the computer at night hoping complete checking resources. But it is not.

Problem solved!
Use game through a VPN once and now it work okay without the VPN. Thank you for help! And thanks Kieren and Jared from GGG support team! |
