Elemental Proliferation+Elemental Equilibrium

Do these two interact? Say you have Cold Snap with EP - will the mere Freeze effect on the surrounding mobs trigger EE?

Thanks in advance!
Dunno why everyone talks about Elemental Equilibrium, it's a terrible terrible skill.

This is how i'd make use of elemental equilibrium:
Roll in groups, spam the 1 elements that no one in your group is using to give everyone else a large bonus.

THE END

Anything else is a convoluted nightmare that's more trouble than it's worth.

could be wrong but i doubt it as the freeze effect does not do dmg. however if the burn effect gets prolified(is this even a word?) it will prob trigger EE since it will do fire dmg
@Crazyfingers: It's a 50% damage bonus when used right. That's pretty freaking huge.

@Ashaira: Yeah, I think so too...yet it seems that a frozen mob kinda should trigger EE ;-)
Maybe someone here can say for sure.

One more thing: Is the initial spell affected by the +25% resist, or is it only triggered afterward?
Multiple elements hitting at once only triggers the reduced damage, it doesn't suffer from it itself unless it's already been triggered.

"proliferated" would be the word you're looking for ;)
The resist is applied after the spell (for obvious reasons). Other than that, I think that none of the elemental status effects cause EE to go off. I'm not sure about that for burning, but DoTs are weird about this sort of thing.
If I have two fish, and you have three fish, how many fish do we have?
None. These are MY fish.

You could run righteous fire which due to the frequency of its ticks would always give the mobs in your direct vicinity -50% to light/cold and +25% to fire. You could spam your main attack skill high in cold and/or lightning damage and always get the bonus.

Your way is good as well. There are probably more uses to it, the game hasn't been out that long yet, give it some time.
Beyond league.
Afaik, burning damage isn't considered "fire" damage for the purpose of EE, even though Fire Resist WILL reduce the damage. I believe the same is for shock/freeze, though they're no brainers as they do no damage.

Also, I'm fairly certain Righteous Fire wouldn't trigger EE, as it's a constant effect of "burning" (+spell/fire damage passives don't increase it's damage, only +burning)
Majority of OPs since OB are full of it

EE specifically triggers when the enemy is hit by elemental damage. DoT, such as burning, never hits anything, it just causes them to take damage over time.
Freeze and shock never do damage in the first place.
