Cant install Path Of Exile. "There is a problem with Windows Installer package."

Hi Deneezy,

Sorry to hear you're having this problem. There's quite a large thread about this error here, that contains a few possible solutions that I'll copy here in case they help you. If you could try some of the following and let us know if any of these help:

• Make sure you're logged in to the Administrator account on the computer

• Try temporarily disabling any firewalls/antivirus as it may block the install

• Try right clicking the installer and going to "Run as administrator"

• Try right clicking the installer and going to "Troubleshoot compatibility"

• When the error window appears, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and end task of the installation process in the task manager, then try launch the game from the shortcut

• Some have had luck refraining from pushing "Ok" on the error box, and then running the launcher has allowed the game to patch, they've then copied the game folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games) to a new folder, then pushed "Ok", and the files in the new folder remain and have worked fine.

• This video has worked for some, showing how to install an msi file using command-line

• Try download the file using a VPN
