there will always be builds/concepts that are more efficient than the "rest" - easier to play, easier to equip, better 'performance', etc

and there are reasons to play (or start with) a build that makes use of this kinds of efficiency - and there always will be people that stick ('forever') with this/such "best" build; while others use these to prepare to be able to force other build afterthen.

Once such builds got "known", they also get 'promoted', hyped, overused then; and (mostly) nerfed later - that's the cycle of time, gameplaywise... ;)

I'm really getting tired of people thinking there is like 1 general way to build around a skill. The victims here are the people who are creative with this skills and see them nerfed because some flock of lemmings copy pasted some popular guy/streamers build.

Also @OP : do you have the statistics who plays what? Because besides my friends and a few streamers (who change builds (aka RIP) faster than you can peel a banana) I don't know anything about other player's main skills, let alone builds.

I'd say that GGG is doing a pretty good job of (im)balancing PoE ;)

People just copy popular streamer builds. This has always been the case.

The problem atm is imo that max block+spellblock is too strong.
