I fell for the free app trap
I just wanted an app to play the radio through my iPod and thought I'd be a tight ass and get the free one. Big mistake.
It constantly downloads adds. That I can almost handle except they pop up over the screen with the tiniest of cancel buttons in the top corner. I'm just shy of two metres tall (6 foot 5 inches in the old language) and my fingertips are much larger than the cancel button, so I find myself frequently entering the advert and having to hit more of these tiny cancel buttons. I can deal with that. What I can't do whilst this cycle of adverts is happening is turn the app off. I have to clear the adds to hit the exit radio app or it turns itself back on. I have one of those iPod docks and the app will turn the power to the dock back on after I turn it off. The most frustrating app I've ever dealt with and all that to hear free digital radio. Moral of the story. Don't be a tight ass. Nothing is ever truly free. "Withdrawing in disgust is not the same as apathy"

Step one: Remove your head from your ass.
Step two: Clean the shit out of your ears. Step three: Listen to some real music for a change. Step four: THERE IS NO STEP FOUR! Step five: Is right out. |
