Crafting Questions

Hello. So I managed to 6L a lvl 77 and a lvl 78 Vaal Regalia with 20 fusings each the other day. Now my question is, is it better to keep trying to use Orbs of Alteration and try to roll really high +# Local ES and +% Local ES then regal and keep using Eternals and Exalts to make it perfect? Or is it better to just Alchemy then keep using Chaos Orbs?
